The Lexus Urban Polo boasts a stunning line-up of sporting prowess. The game of polo is not for the faint-hearted, being classified as an extreme sport. Our very own Sam Hopkinson is one of the many talented players who return every year aiming to be crowned the High Goal Challenge winner.
The Players
f3polo® is Urban Polo’s contemporary spin on the traditional game of polo. f3polo or “fast3polo” is faster paced, with a smaller field for better viewability. There are three players per team, the rules are simplified and the chukkas (or quarters) are shorter. These key differences help to create a more exciting experience like no other for spectators.

Become a Team Sponsor
Host your clients in front of your winning team. Sponsorship of a team gives you the opportunity to have your brand front and centre on the players shirts, as the players charge across the field.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
F3Polo® and Urban Polo are committed to protecting our precious environment.
We believe that Polo, as the oldest team sport, has a meaningful role to play in helping to protect the environment, today and for the future.
Changes to our climate are accelerating and we have a responsibility to play our part, mitigating our own impacts, ensuring we have a climate resilient estate for the future and using our influence to support this important cause.
We will do this by:
Reducing emissions from our operations to ‘net zero’ by 2030
Being a more resource-efficient organisation in all we do
Contributing to a ‘net gain’ in biodiversity
We showcase the very best, seasonal ingredients from New Zealand including plant-based options across all our menus as indicated with ‘Low CO2e’.
From our inception we have engaged in recycling and diverting waste to achieve sustainable outcomes, recycling 100% of organics and 70% of non organics, thereby diverting over 78% from landfill.
Bio-diversity is a key focus for our team each year. We collect and distribute 375kgs of manure from each event for use in the park with 100% being returned to places like Hagley Park.
What to Wear
Summer smart casual with clean looks and sharp detailing is the order of the day.
For the ladies, flowing dresses or tailored pants and wedges/sandals are the norm (stiletto heels are best left at home), a summer hat, headband, scarf or accessory can be an excellent way to finish off an outfit.
For the gents, a tailored shirt matched with dress shorts or chinos, together with loafers or boat shoes achieves a polished yet casual look for the day.
Sunglasses are a must-have accessory for a sunny day.
